Our Missions

The ministry of missions is very important to us, because is enables our little church in Riverside to reach out to all the areas of the world. Through the ministry of Compassion International www.Compassion.com we experience our call to missions on a very personal level, as we sponser a child in another country. Through the ministry of the Gideon International www.GideonsInternational.org we experience our call to missions in financially helping thier effort to carry and give out the Word of God to all the poeples of the world. And throught the ministry of Mission Aviation Fellowship www.maf.org we experience our call to missions in financially helping them purchase planes and fuel that take missionaries and preachers and medical aid to the unreachable parts of the world to the glory of God.

We pray that you wil support these ministries, as they are directly involved with Jesus' great command given to all of us, to take Jesus' message of salvation to the world. In helping them complete their mission, you and I spiritually share in their endevor. Please keep them in your prayers.

MAF is a faith-based, non-profit ministry. Teams of aviation, communications and technology specialists overcome barriers, transform lives, and enable the work of some 600 organizations around the world.

The Gideons International serves as an extended missionary arm of the church: Our sole purpose is to win men, women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ through association for service, personal testimony, and distributing the Bible in the human traffic lanes and streams of everyday life.

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Founded by Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training. Today, Compassion helps more than 770,000 children in more than 20 countries.
